However, this franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. If you are hired for the job described in this posting, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA. Only the franchisee is responsible for employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervisions, staffing, and scheduling employees. Responsibilities

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Some managers also lead departments, managing assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results to the team and other managers.

The Guest Service Department Manager’s responsibilities include ensuring crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are executed correctly, that all service staff are trained in service procedures, and that the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for optimal service.

The Kitchen Department Manager’s responsibilities include ensuring the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintaining food safety, controlling food cost, and training all kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.

The People Department Manager’s responsibilities include hiring qualified crew, training them effectively, and scheduling them to meet sales and profit goals. The manager also supports crew through recognition and motivation to ensure they start well and remain engaged.

Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We’re looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who enjoy a fast‑paced environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
