Fall River Public Schools is seeking a Department Head to support classroom teachers and provide leadership in curriculum areas. The ideal candidate must possess a Massachusetts educator license for the relevant subject and have at least three years of successful teaching experience.
The position includes responsibilities such as coordinating curriculum objectives, overseeing department needs, and evaluating staff performance. The department head plays a pivotal role in enhancing educational outcomes and ensuring alignment with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
This position follows the Fall River Administrators’ Association contract and is open to all qualified candidates.
To support and assist classroom teachers with content and content-specific pedagogy that effectively supports students in meeting the standards identified in the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. To provide leadership, coordination, and innovation to assigned curricular areas.
