Summary
Job Summary:
The Department Coordinator works to enhance the operation, efficiency, and integration of the Department, including the clinic and administrative office as appropriate. This position coordinates projects and provides administrative expertise to the Department. It manages multiple projects and independently prioritizes work as directed by the Department Administrator or Department Chair. The Department Coordinator also provides a variety of administrative support functions to ensure the efficient operation of the Department. This role involves coordinating internal and external resources to meet the Department's goals and objectives in a timely and financially responsible manner. Additionally, Department Coordinators support and manage activities related to ACGME Fellowship programs, overseeing all aspects of program management and administration, including planning, coordinating academic and operational activities, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and advising on GME program issues. Other duties may be assigned by Leadership.

Credentials/Qualifications:
§ High School diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
§ Required: Minimum three (3) years' experience in an administrative or analytical role within healthcare, education, or corporate settings.
§ Preferred: Over five (5) years' experience in an administrative or analytical role within healthcare, education, or corporate environments.
§ Demonstrated proficiency with office organization, procedures, protocols, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Capstone/PowerChart and SSRS reporting tools is desirable.
§ Proficiency in Adobe Professional, New Innovations, and ERAS is preferred, with training available on the job if needed.
