Seneca Foods Corporation is actively seeking a Warehouse Can Depalletizer Operator to run and maintain depalletizer machinery, ensuring can quality and efficient production within the Labeling Department. The successful candidate will learn quickly, handle tasks in a fast-paced environment, and work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with label line operations or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate depalletizer machinery efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
• Verify the brite cans are the correct commodity for the order.
• Remove cans that have dents or damage prior to labeling.
• Use the P-244 system to account for the number of brite cans used for the work task.
• Maintain the Label Downtime Log to record issues for future analysis.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet targets.
