Job summary

CocuSocial is seeking experienced Chef Instructors to lead hands-on cooking classes in Denver. Classes accommodate up to 26 guests and focus on a fun, social, and approachable experience rather than a traditional culinary-school environment.

Instructors lead the full class experience, including ingredient purchasing, preparation, setup, instruction, and cleanup. Flexible, part-time schedules offer opportunities from a few classes per month to multiple classes per week.

Qualifications

• Professional culinary background or equivalent culinary experience.
• Passion for food and enthusiasm for sharing culinary knowledge with others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable speaking to and engaging groups of up to 26 guests.
• Ability to create a fun, welcoming, and beginner-friendly learning environment.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Prior experience teaching cooking classes, culinary education, demonstrations, team training, or other instructional environments is preferred.
• Availability to teach in person in the Denver area.

Responsibilities

• Lead full class experience, including ingredient purchasing, preparation, setup, instruction and cleanup.
• Guide guests through recipes and techniques in a welcoming group setting.
• Create engaging, beginner-friendly learning experiences for a range of skill levels.
• Collaborate with partner venues and ensure a smooth class operation.
