Job summary

CHRISTOPHER T PAWELEK DDS PLLC in New York is seeking a skilled Dentist to join a busy practice focused on high-quality dental care. You will deliver comprehensive examinations, diagnose and treat a range of dental conditions, and provide treatments from x-rays to cosmetic services in a modern setting.

The ideal candidate will have a DDS/DMD, a current state license, and strong communication skills, with experience in clinical or private practice and a patient-centered bedside manner.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required.
• Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry.
• Current state license.
• Previous experience in clinical or private practice.
• CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications.
• Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends.
• Excellent bedside manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection.
• Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration.
• Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dental services.
• Consult with other dental specialists when necessary.
• Supervise staff.
• Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliances.
• Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
