42 North Dental is hiring a full-time General Dentist in Enfield, CT to lead the patient experience from exam to treatment. In-house specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Expect a strong patient flow and a competitive salary with a generous sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through CE and professional development.
