Job summary

The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) Regional Dental Director is responsible for the oversight and support of regional oral health services and programs. This position plays a vital role in the Dental Leadership Team within TDH, working with six (6) other regional dental directors statewide

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other regional, metro, and state leadership to implement improvements in access to care.
• Provide leadership and support to all dental programs, assuring the provision of quality care and supporting clinical operational improvements.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders in evaluating, planning, and implementing initiatives.
• Manage data, reports, and contracts for various programs/initiatives. Manage regional dental staff to include assistants, hygienists, and clinical dentists.
• Plan, coordinate, deliver, and manage comprehensive oral health services for uninsured and underinsured adults and children as needed.
