Job summary

42 North Dental in Lumberville, PA is seeking a part-time Dentist to lead the patient experience from the initial exam through delivery of care in our established practice.

You will diagnose oral diseases, educate patients on options, create and review treatment plans, maintain records, interpret x-rays, monitor growth, and provide restorative, preventive, and surgical care while upholding the highest standards of ethics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standards of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
