Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time dentist to join our team at Ware State Prison in Waycross, GA. The dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to incarcerated patients, including exams, restorations, extractions, prosthetics, prophylaxis, fluoride, and endodontics, under the Georgia Department of Corrections program.

Qualified candidates must hold a Georgia dental license and be able to clear NPDB, background check, and drug test; CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.

• CPR certification or willingness to become CPR-certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to incarcerated patients.
• Perform recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetics, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
• Maintain and update patient records in compliance with prison protocols.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure continuity of care and safety within the facility.

Responsibilities

The dentist provides comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients, including routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.

Shift Details

• Weekday schedule
• Day shift
• One 10- hour shift per week
• No nights, holidays or weekends

Qualifications

• Georgia dental license
• Must be able to clear an NPDB, criminal background check and drug test
• CPR certified or able to become certified upon employment
