Job summary

Benevis seeks a dentist with significant hands-on oral surgery experience to join our dental team on a PRN basis in the Washington, DC area. Candidates should perform third molar and complex surgical extractions with confidence and have substantial clinical volume to back it up.

We provide the dental team, equipment, and patients, along with a flexible PRN schedule and a full practice support structure, including software, digital imaging, and trained assistants to support these procedures.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental program.
• Demonstrated advanced oral surgery experience with complex extractions.
• Active dental license in the practice state, or eligibility for licensure.
• Current BLS, ACLS, DEA, and applicable state credentials.
• Compassion and a strong desire to provide oral surgery care to underserved patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform third molar extractions, including impacted cases.
• Complete surgical and complex extractions across the dentition as clinically appropriate.
• Work efficiently with trained clinical staff in a dental office environment.
• Uphold compliant, patient-centered oral surgery care standards.

Responsibilities

Our dental oral surgery practice has:

• DentaPro software


• Digital x-ray and Panorex units


• Dedicated dental assistants trained to support oral surgery procedures


• Yearly OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training

Dentist (Oral Surgery) responsibilities include:

• Perform third molar extractions, including impacted cases


• Complete surgical and complex extractions across the dentition as clinically appropriate


• Work efficiently within our dental office environment with trained clinical staff


• Uphold compliant, patient-centered oral surgery care standards
