Provide comprehensive dental care, travel to outlying communities, and help develop an outreach program. Requires DDS/DMD, Alaska license, BLS, and DEA; 1 year experience preferred. Salary $225,000–$260,000 DOE with full benefits and NHSC loan repayment.

Position Overview: General Dentist FQHC in Bethel, AK

Location: Bethel, AK (with outreach to surrounding tribal communities)
Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
Role: Provide comprehensive dental care while actively contributing to the development of an outreach program to serve remote tribal communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver general dentistry services to patients in Bethel and surrounding villages


• Travel periodically to outlying tribal communities to provide care


• Assist in establishing and expanding the outreach program


• Work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Qualifications:

• Education: DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school


• Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience preferred (proficiency in endodontics is a plus)
