Job summary

42 North Dental, rooted in Boston, is seeking a Dentist to lead the full patient experience from exam and treatment planning to care delivery. In‑office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You'll join a practice with a strong patient flow and access to exclusive continuing education, mentorship, and collaboration with a network of doctors. This is a full‑time role offering ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license required.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B must be documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage is required.
• BLS/CPR certification current and valid.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continue professional education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
