Responsibilities of the Dentist

1. Provide diagnosis of patients' dental status using accepted clinical and radiological techniques.
2. Assess patients' dental needs and coordinate appropriate consultations for treatment planning.
3. Deliver comprehensive professional dental treatments addressing oral health needs.
4. Perform routine exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments.
5. Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
6. Manage administrative functions of the dental practice.
7. Supervise dental hygienists and assistants.

Requirements for the Dentist

• DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.
