Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to lead the complete clinical patient experience from initial exam through delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics, with a focus on high-quality, ethical care.

The successful candidate will join a team that values education, collaboration and ongoing professional development in a growing practice located near Boston. Office-based learning and mentorship opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• License to practice dentistry in the state
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patient records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education
