Job summary

42 North Dental, based in the Boston healthcare hub, seeks a Dentist to oversee the full clinical patient experience—from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care at Gentle Dental Rochester.

In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with collaboration across a strong patient base and a modern, supportive practice. Competitive earnings and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients' oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain, and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices, and standards of care through continuing education and professional development.
