42North Dental in Connecticut seeks a licensed dentist to lead the patient care experience from exam to treatment. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers mentorship, continuing education, and an equity opportunity within a supportive network of doctors. Applicants should hold a DMD or DDS, current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination proof, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health options and care.
• Create and discuss treatment plans with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.
