Graduate of a CODA/CDCA accredited dental school
Successful completion of a hospital based General Practice Residency
Recent experience in delivering general dental services in the OR
Successful treatment and management of adult special needs patients in an outpatient setting
Teaching experience in a pre-doctoral or postgraduate dental education preferred.
Requires good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills as well as organizational skills, understanding of current medical and dental technology, and excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Ability to react to crisis situations quickly and effectively using department protocols and guidelines
Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare electronic medical records (EMR)
Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and medical treatment
The ability and commitment to keep detailed records
Potential to serve as Associate GPR Program Director
Certifications/Licensure
