Job summary

42North Dental in Boston is seeking a Doctor of Dentistry (DDS/DMD) to join our established practice as a full-time dentist. You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, and create treatment plans for a steady flow of patients.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
