Job summary
42 North Dental in Connecticut is seeking a Dentist to lead the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to care delivery.
In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics. Candidates must have a DMD or DDS, a current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance and BLS/CPR certification. Annual rate: $75,000–$250,000 USD.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
- Review treatment plan options with patients
- Review and update patients' medical and dental records
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
- Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients
- Maintain ethics and professionalism
- Keep abreast of new developments via continuing education
