Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to lead the patient care journey from initial exam and treatment planning through delivery of comprehensive dental services, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will join an established practice with a steady flow of new patients while enjoying ongoing continuing education and mentorship within a collaborative Doctor network.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests to guide care.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics in all patient interactions.
• Keep current with developments, technologies, and standards of care through ongoing education.
