Job summary

42North Dental, founded to advance dental care, is seeking a dedicated Dentist to join our established practice. You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, and create treatment plans for patients with a focus on prevention and comprehensive care.

You will review records, interpret x-rays, and perform restorative and preventive procedures while maintaining the highest standards of ethics. A strong commitment to ongoing learning is expected.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited dental program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
