Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a licensed Dentist to lead comprehensive patient care, from exams and treatment planning to delivery of dental services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will join a team committed to continuing education, mentorship, and collaboration across doctors, with a strong patient intake and a focus on outstanding standards of care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and surrounding tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and best practices.
