Job summary

42 North Dental, a Rhode Island-based dental practice, invites a licensed Dentist to join our established team. You will oversee the full patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer exclusive continuing education, mentorship, and a collaborative network of doctors. Annual rate ranges widely to reflect experience and responsibilities, from 50,000 to 125,000 USD.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and best practices through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program
