Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a Dentist to lead the patient care experience from exams and treatment planning to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a strong new-patient flow.

Applicants must hold a DDS/DMD, be licensed to practice in the state, and have BLS/CPR certification. Competitive annual rate from $50,000 to $125,000 USD and a culture of continuing education and mentorship.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Manage and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality and ethical standards of care.
• Keep up with new developments and best practices through continuing education.
