Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions in Missoula, MT seeks a licensed dentist to provide inmate dental services within the facility, adhering to security regulations and documenting care for proper compensation. You will perform routine cleaning, restorations, extractions, impressions, and patient education while maintaining accurate, confidential records and collaborating with health staff.

• Must have dental license in the state of employment.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of general dentistry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides dental care and treatment to referred patients in accordance with facility regulations and standards.
• Performs routine cleaning, restorative dentistry, and extractions as needed.
• Evaluates patients' dental care needs and makes clinically appropriate recommendations .
• Takes impressions for dental appliances and instructs patients in good dental hygiene techniques.
• Maintains accurate and confidential patient records and provides in-service training for health staff members.

How you make a difference

The Dentist is responsible for providing dental services to inmate patients within the institution they are assigned to, while adhering to the security regulations of the facility. They are required to maintain accurate and timely documentation of their services and provide it to the director or designee to ensure compliance with client contract and proper compensation for services rendered .
