Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a Dentist to lead the clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers flexible schedule, full-time or part-time, with no nights or weekends, and a strong earning potential based on production in a modern, patient-centered practice environment. Candidates must hold a DMD or DDS and a valid state license.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plans with patients and explain options.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records; interpret x-rays.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care and perform surgical procedures as needed.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism; stay current with developments in dentistry.
