Job summary

42North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from exam and treatment plan to delivery of care at Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates.

The position offers a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time) with no nights or weekends, a focus on restorative and aesthetic dentistry, and opportunity to perform a wide range of procedures in a modern, patient-centered practice.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
