Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a licensed Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care, from exams to treatment planning and delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on patient education and outcomes.

The role emphasizes maintaining high standards of care, ethics, and ongoing professional development within an established practice that welcomes a steady flow of new patients each month.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism, and stay updated with current CE and best practices.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
