Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from an accredited program.
• Must have a current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is needed.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Perform surgical procedures and keep updated medical records.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
