Job summary

42 North Dental is hiring a licensed Dentist in the United States to oversee the full patient experience from initial exam to treatment delivery. The practice offers in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a strong focus on education and professional development.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, and create treatment plans while maintaining records and staying current with advancing dental technologies.

Qualifications

• Must have a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Must hold current state dentistry license.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance; CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and professional ethics.
• Stay updated on new developments and best practices.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry
