At Gentle Dental, we’re seeking a Part-Time General Dentist who has a passion for endodontic treatment and wants to dedicate the majority of their practice to root canal therapy and related endodontic procedures within the scope of general dentistry in California.

Whether you’ve developed advanced endodontic skills through continuing education or simply enjoy performing root canals, this is a unique opportunity to focus your practice on the procedures you love while benefiting from the support, technology, and patient base of an established multi-specialty organization.

You’ll work alongside General Dentists and Specialists in a collaborative environment, receiving a consistent flow of internal referrals while maintaining the clinical autonomy to provide exceptional patient care.

Scope of Practice

This position is designed for General Dentists who enjoy providing endodontic care within the scope permitted by California law.

Procedures May Include

• Root canal therapy on anterior teeth
• Root canal therapy on premolars
• Molar root canal therapy
• Endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning
• Emergency endodontic treatment
• Pulpotomies and pulpectomies
• Management of endodontic emergencies and dental pain
• Core buildups following endodontic treatment
• Collaboration with specialists for complex retreatments, apicoectomies, or other cases requiring specialty care

Schedule

Requires 1 day per week with flexibility to add additional days based on the desired schedule of the Doctor.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive percentage of production rates in the mid-30’s.
