Dentist (DDS/DMD) – 1 Day per Week

We are looking for a dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to inmate patients within the facility. The position requires adherence to security regulations, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide dental care and treatment to referred patients in accordance with facility regulations and standards.
• Perform routine cleaning, restorative dentistry, and extractions as needed.
• Evaluate patients' dental needs and make clinically appropriate recommendations.
• Take impressions for dental appliances and instruct patients in good dental hygiene techniques.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and provide in‑service training for health staff members.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of dental medicine.
• One year of experience in general dentistry preferred.
• Must have and maintain current licensure as a dentist within the state of employment.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.
• Schedule is on Friday for an 8‑hour shift weekly.
