Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to lead clinical care from initial exam through treatment delivery. In our established practice you will work with a strong patient flow and in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role emphasizes comprehensive patient education, treatment planning, and maintaining highest standards of care and ethics while staying current with new dental developments and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education
