Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
- Current state dental license.

Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Perform restorative and preventive dental care
- Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues
- Maintain high standards of care and ethics
- Keep updated on new developments through continuing education
