Job summary

42 North Dental in the Boston area is seeking a Dentist to lead the full clinical patient experience, from exam to treatment planning and delivery of care across in-office specialties.

You will diagnose, educate patients, create and review plans, and maintain precise dental records while upholding high ethics and standards. A strong team and ongoing CE are provided.

Annual rate: 50,000–125,000 USD, with a comprehensive benefits package including 401K and mentorship.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active license to practice dentistry in the relevant state.
• Vaccination documentation for Hepatitis B.
• Malpractice insurance coverage proof required.
• CPR/BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Skills

BLS/CPR certification

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry
