Job summary
42North Dental, founded to advance dental practice in the Boston area, is seeking a Dentist to oversee the full patient experience from initial exam to treatment. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.
Qualified candidates hold a DDS/DMD, current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, and malpractice insurance. A strong commitment to continuing education is valued. Competitive compensation is provided.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create and review treatment plans.
- Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
- Maintain high quality of care.
- Maintain ethics and professionalism.
- Stay updated with new developments through continuing education.
