Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to lead the full patient care experience from initial exam to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Join a practice with a strong patient flow and a network supporting education and mentorship.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, create and discuss treatment plans, and maintain comprehensive patient records in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
