Job summary

A community health organization is seeking a Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care including examinations, diagnoses, and procedures related to oral health. The position requires a high school diploma, a DDS or DMD, and active licensure in Idaho. Bilingual skills are preferred. The competitive salary ranges from $156,800 to $191,300 per year. Additionally, eligible candidates will receive a sign-on bonus and patient incentive bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to work in Idaho.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients' teeth and gums using dental equipment and X-rays.
• Diagnose dental conditions and plan oral health care in consultation with patients.
• Clean teeth and cavities and provide preventive care.
• Repair decayed and broken teeth by placement of filling materials.
• Treat diseases of the gums and tooth nerves.
• Perform surgical operations on the mouth and jaws.
• Provide local anesthetics for treatment.
• Design and fit dentures, crowns, and bridges.
• Refer patients to dental specialists for further treatment.
