Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services company, seeks a Dentist (Locum Tenens) to serve beneficiaries of the Indian Health Service Fort Belknap Service Unit in Harlem, Montana. Emphasis on cultural sensitivity and human dignity in patient care.

This is a 1099, full-time role with a $160/hr rate. Expect a broad range of dental procedures and quality care in a scheduled Monday–Friday clinic setting, with IHS Clinical Director oversight.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted dental license in the U.S.
• DDS or DMD degree from CODA-accredited school.
• Active BLS or ACLS.
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience.

Responsabilités

• Exams, crowns, fillings, bridges, dentures, implants, root canals, simple and surgical extractions, endo molar, endo sealants, partials, X-rays, Invisalign.
• Initial and follow-up evaluation, treatment and management for dental care.
• Be present on time for scheduled clinics as documented by presence in the clinic at start time.
• Provide consultation with referring physicians regarding indications for procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and meetings as required.
• Attend staff meetings as required by IHS leadership.
• Complete QM/PI documentation for procedures and outcomes.
• Document care and select appropriate E/M codes in EHR.
• Follow patient safety and infection control standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Dentist will provide services to beneficiaries of the Indian Health Service's Fort Belknap Service Unit in Harlem, Montana. The Dentist shall deliver quality care to attain positive health outcomes for all our valued patients with emphasis on cultural sensitivity and human dignity.

Position details:

• 1099, rate $160/hr


• Full time, Monday-Friday


• Chenega covers medical malpractice insurance


• Patient Volume: Minimum of 8 per day

Responsibilities

• Exams, crowns, fillings, bridges, dentures, implants, root canals, simple extractions, surgical extractions, endo molar, endo sealants, partials, X-rays, Invisalign.


• Employment of the principles of dental care. Initial and follow-up evaluation, treatment and management for dental care.


• Be present on time for any scheduled clinics as documented by physical presence in the clinic at the scheduled start time.


• Provide consultation with and instruction to referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for procedures so that the most expeditious and clinically appropriate work-up can be done.


• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings with committee participation as required by the IHS Clinical Director, Chief Dental Officer, Chief of Staff, or designee.


• Attend staff meetings as required by the IHS Clinical Director, Chief Dental Officer, Chief of Staff, or designee.


• Complete the appropriate QM/PI documentation pertaining to all procedures, complications and outcome of examinations.


• Document care given and select appropriate Evaluation and Management (E&M) procedure codes in EHR.


• Follow all established patient safety and infection control standards of care.


• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Permanent, current, full and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a state, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.


• Graduate of an accredited dental school approved by the commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA) with either a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of dental Medicine (DMD) degree.


• Active BLS or ACLS.


• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience.
