Job summary

Sunshine Dental in Sumter, SC is seeking a General Dentist with pediatric experience or a Pediatric Dentist to join a thriving pediatric-focused practice. We welcome dentists at all career stages, offering mentorship, continuing education, and an opportunity to build clinical skills.

Position options include Part-Time (3 days/week Tue-Wed-Thu) or Full-Time (Tue-Fri). Office hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM in a solo practice setting, serving primarily pediatric patients with a Medicaid-heavy payer

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree.
• Eligible for or currently holding a South Carolina dental license.
• Pediatric dental experience preferred for General Dentists; Pediatric Dentists/Pediatric Specialists are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to high-quality, clinically appropriate patient care.
• Enjoys working with and treating children.

General Dentist / Pediatric Dentist

Join a thriving pediatric dental practice in Sumter, SC, dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to children and families. Sunshine Dental is seeking a General Dentist with pediatric experience or a Pediatric Dentist/Pediatric Specialist to join our team. We are open to dentists at all stages of their careers, including experienced providers and early-career doctors seeking mentorship, continuing education, and the opportunity to build their clinical skills.

Position Options

• Part-Time: 3 days per week — Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Full-Time: Tuesday through Friday
• Office Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Practice Setting: Solo practice
• Patient Population: Primarily pediatric patients
• Payer Mix: Approximately 95% Medicaid, with some PPO patients
