Job summary

Professional Care Dental Servies, P.C. is seeking a Part-Time Dentist to join our team at the Onondaga County Jail in Jamesville, NY. This role requires up to 8 hours weekly on Thursdays or Saturdays with potential for 8 more hours at the Syracuse facility.

Salary is negotiable from $80 to $120 per hour. Company-paid malpractice insurance (including tail) and part-time PTO/sick leave are provided. Must be licensed in NY and hold a current DEA number.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Dental Medicine.
• Licensed to practice dentistry in the State of New York.
• Maintain a current DEA number & ability to prescribe medications in New York.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental care to patients/inmates at Onondaga County Jail or associated facilities.
• Monitor, observe and document patient progress and dental status.
• Develop trusting relationships with patients and maintain clear communication.

If looking for additional hours we have ability for 8 hours additional at the Onondaga Justice Center in Syracuse, NY.

Requirements
