Job summary

AMN Locums Dentistry is seeking a Dentist to provide locum tenens coverage for a pediatric family dentistry setting. Dates in October are available from 9am to 5pm in a clinic environment.

The role involves a broad range of procedures including prophies, extractions, x-rays, fillings, pulpotomies, sealants, crowns and basic periodontal care, exams and hygiene checks. Active license, DEA, BLS/ CPR and Dentrix EMR experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active State License to practice dentistry in the United States.
• Active Medicaid enrollment.
• DEA license current and active.
• BLS certification.
• CPR certification.
• Proficiency with Dentrix EMR and CSR paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide family dentistry for pediatric patients (mostly kids).
• Perform prophies, extractions, x-rays, fillings, pulpotomies, sealants, crowns.
• Handle periodontics treatment, exams and hygiene checks.
