Job summary

CareArc is seeking a full-time Dentist to join our expanding dental team in Emporia, Kansas. The role focuses on evaluating, treating, and consulting with patients, while handling emergencies and educating patients on self-management.

The ideal candidate will be licensed in Kansas to practice dentistry and to prescribe medications, with CPR certification within 30 days of employment. A bilingual candidate and EMR experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of dentistry.
• Licensure as a dentist in the State of Kansas.
• Licensure to prescribe medication in the State of Kansas.
• CPR Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment).

• Providing dental evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to patients of the clinic;
• Responding to emergencies and answering dental questions;
• Providing patient education and self-management support;
• Refilling prescriptions, administration of medications, and referrals;
  
• Performing other duties needed for patient care.

The ideal candidate is customer service orientated, self-motivated, attentive to detail and can work efficiently both independently and with a team. Bilingualism, strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical records are a plus.

Education and Experience

• Graduate from an accredited school of dentistry
• Licensure as a dentist in the State of Kansas
• Licensure to prescribe medication in the State of Kansas
• CPR Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
