Harbor Health Services is seeking a talented Full Time Dentist to join our Ellen Jones Community Dental Center in Dennis, MA and Harbor Community Health Center in Hyannis. The role focuses on preventive care and oral health within a mission-driven team.

The successful candidate will diagnose and treat dental diseases, supervise dental staff, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, retirement plan, and loan repayment programs.

Qualifications

• D.M.D. or D.D.S. from an approved dental school.
• Current Full MA Dentist License or Limited License eligible Dentist.
• 3 years of experience as a Dentist preferred.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) Certification required.
• Current MCSR and DEA registrations.

Responsibilities

• Determines and implements an effective treatment plan for patients (dentures, extractions, fillings, root canals, etc.).
• Advises and educates patients about dental health practices.
• Collaborates with managers of other patient services to coordinate treatment plans.
• Enter patient information into the medical record in a timely and accurate manner.
• May report to work or remain during emergencies.
• Provides supervision of dental staff and students as assigned.

The posted pay range is for a fully licensed Dentist.

The pay range for a limited license eligible Dentist is $115,518 to $173,328 annualized.

We are seeking a talented Full Time Dentist to join our team at the Ellen Jones Community Dental Center in Dennis, MA and the Harbor Community Health Center in Hyannis.

Role

The Dentist works within a team to provide dental care for outpatients by focusing on preventive care, oral health, and overall health. The dentist is responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth and gums. Role will include hours at both of our Dental clinics in Dennis and Hyannis.

Responsibilities

• Determines and implements effective plan of treatment for patient whether it includes impressions for dentures, extracting diseased teeth, repairing cavities, root canals etc.
• Advises and educates patient about dental health practices.
• Consults with the managers of other patient services to ensure coordination of services for dental treatment plan of patients.
• Enters all pertinent and required information into patient medical record in accordance with procedure and practice in a timely and effective manner.
• During emergency operations may be required to report to work or remain at work.
• Provides functional supervision of the dental assistants, hygienists, students, externs, and residents as assigned and/or as a designee in the absence of the site Lead Dentist.

Requirements

• D.M.D. or D.D.S. from approved dental school
• Current Full, MA Dentist Licens e or Limited License eligible Dentist
• 3 years of experience as a Dentist preferred.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) Certification required
• Current MCSR and DEA
