Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Dentist to provide clinical dental care within healthcare facilities under a contract of 26 days. The role requires a DDS or DMD, active state licensure, and current CPR where applicable.

Responsibilities include diagnosis and treatment planning along with patient education as part of the Dentistry team. Must have at least one year of dental experience and compliance with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed and in good standing in the state in which they are practicing.
• A minimum of one year experience as a dentist is preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Job description

As part of the Dentistry team, the Dentist will serve anintegral part in the diagnoses and treatment of patients. The Dentist will assess and address issueswith patients' teeth, gums, and other areas of the oral cavity. The Dentist will provide education andinstruction on caring for teeth and gums that affect oral health. Involvement includes clinical dental work andeducation with specific responsibilities governed by the state in which thedentist is employed.
