Job summary

The City and County of Denver offers a part-time internship (on-call) with a hybrid work model in Colorado. The role runs 3 months (Feb–Apr 2027), with 15–30 hours weekly and up to 39 hours during peak periods, and pay ranging from $20.22 to $22.78 per hour. Eligible for the 457b retirement plan but no other benefits.

The DENtern program provides real-world aviation and workforce development experience, working on BDTA initiatives under the Culture & Strategy Division within DEN.

Qualifications

• Resume (1–2 pages) and transcripts or equivalents required.
• Optional cover letter with 3–5 new skills or experiences you hope to gain.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities and classroom logistics for BDTA.
• Draft and deliver weekly communications to BDTA participants.
• Facilitate opening/closing announcements and engagement moments.
• Support development of a pilot workshop or resource for Professional Services firms.
• Engage with BDTA Alumni board to plan activities.
