Job summary

Family Health Center is seeking a Dental Therapist to provide preventive and restorative dental care under a supervising dentist. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in dental therapy required.
  • Wisconsin Registered Dental Therapist License required.
  • BLS certification at time of hire or within 3 months.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, treatment planning, implementation and evaluation with supervising dentist.
  • Deliver preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures per protocols and state regulations.
  • Perform restorative services within the Wisconsin scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with dentists to develop and execute treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Document all patient care accurately in the electronic dental record.
