Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to uphold infection control guidelines at all times to maintain patient safety.
• Ability to pass competency exam (Biological Monitors) at 85% within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Ability to work in a complex high activity environment.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical requirements: lift 25 pounds; stand for 4 hours at a time.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize and process/store dental instruments in accordance with Infection Control Guidelines. Weekly Biological monitoring. Maintain sterilization equipment per manufacturers instructions.
• Assist in restocking operatories after patients use; receive and ship dental lab cases; pour impressions and trim models; keep lab equipment clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned by office manager or supervisory personnel in an active, cooperative manner.
