National Dentex is seeking a Dental Lab Technician specializing in Denture Finishing in Sylvania, OH. The role operates on-site with hours 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday through Friday, in a full-time position offering comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include reading dentist prescriptions, finishing dentures, and ensuring accurate fit and aesthetics. Candidates should have at least two years in a denture fabrication setting and strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read prescriptions and specifications from dentist.
• Separate processed removable restorations and match to correct case pan.
• Remove excess acrylic flash using burs and cutting wheels.
• Remove excess acrylic from metal areas of partial dentures and from teeth.
• Add final anatomy for aesthetics and function.
• Seat back to models to check fit and adjust if necessary.
• Repair acrylic defects using cold cure technique.
• Final polish with pumice and high shine materials.
• Bag dentures and label cases before returning to their pan.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• All other duties as assigned.

We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician opportunity specializing in Denture Finishing at NDX Dresch Dental Laboratory in Sylvania, OH.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, and may vary from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
• Separate processed removable restorations out of flasks and match back to the correct case pan
• Remove excess acrylic flash using burs and or cutting wheels
• Remove excess acrylic from metal areas of partial dentures and from teeth
• Add final anatomy to present an aesthetic appearance and good function
• Seat back to models to check for correct fit, adjust if necessary
• Repair any areas of the acrylic that have holes, porosity, or scarring using cold cure acrylic technique
• Final polish using pumice and high shine materials
• Bag dentures and put number of case on the bag before replacing in the correct pan

Minimum Education and Experience Required

• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Required: Minimum two (2) years of experience in a denture fabrication department within a dental laboratory
